The Federation of Independent Space Travelers is a group of TBG players dedicated to creative, confrontational and most of all fun play. FIST members share information while allowing each other latitude for innovative or aggressive playing styles. FIST members were among the first to regularly exploit game features such as "Attack If Defied" and the first to experiment with claiming a territory. Mendelssohn, former Prophet of the Fierce One, created the game's first publicly available combat simulator during his term. Constitution organized the first campaign for Galactic President and held office for 20 uninterrupted terms despite numerous challengers. He was succeeded by Knjaz' Igor', who served another 17 terms. FIST has enhanced interest in TBG society since its inception. Our policies on communication have become the galactic standard. We have been one of the smallest and most powerful alliances in TBG since shortly after our inception. Little happens in TBG without the hand of FIST involved. |
